Brandette Anderson, CPA

Bookkeeping and accounting have been my focus since fifth grade, when my grandmother told me to take bookkeeping in high school. I listened. From Ankeny, Iowa to California State University, Northridge, where I earned my B.S. in Business with an Accounting focus, that early advice became a career.

I’m a Certified Public Accountant who recently retired from the State of Nevada as a Gaming Control Board Agent. In that role, I reconciled millions in reported casino gaming revenue to submitted state tax returns, auditing casinos with a minimum of $10,000,000 in annual gross gaming revenue — from properties like Flamingo Las Vegas to the Wynn.

Prior to the State of Nevada, I spent 18 years at Campbell Hall Episcopal in North Hollywood, CA. Starting as an accounts payable bookkeeper, I rose to Business Manager, responsible for financial and facility operations with a staff of 25. I oversaw a $10M annual operating budget and $5M endowment, managing hundreds of mini-budgets to ensure accountability of tuition and contribution dollars for 1,000 students and 250 faculty/staff. Campbell Hall serves families including Denzel Washington, Tony Danza, Andy Garcia, and the Olsen twins.

Now my passion is to help small businesses enjoy their business and family while I can continue my accounting and bookkeeping services that I developed over the years!
